Our friends at the Environmental Working Group estimate that children are exposed to an average of 60 chemicals each and every day. These chemicals are breathed in and absorbed through their skin.
Location, Location, Location. European babies not only have closer access to London Bridge (which at this writing is not falling down), they also have easier access to safer baby products. The European Union has banned the use of 1109 chemicals in its personal care products. The FDA has banned the use of only 8 chemicals in its personal care products.
Research shows that babies are exposed to phalates in lotions, shampoos and soaps. These toxins create serious damage to baby boy’s reproductive systems.
